I started photography as a photojournalist in France. I have then been involved in cinema and other related activities and after a long break started four years ago to take photographs again. I learned photography on my own and was inspired by Andre Kertesz, Robert Frank, Bill Brandt, Aaron Siskind...among many other photographers. Painters have had a decisive role in my approach to art and those include the early Renaissance in Italy as well as the American Abstract Expressionism.
