About Bartosz Liszkowski

I've been involved in photography since I was 10th when my father took me to a dark room for the first time and showed me how to develop monochrome photographs. An image appearing slowly on a piece of paper when put into developer liquid was the moment it clicked.
For many years, I was led by technical stuff and pixel-perfect expositions. Now, while still using modern cameras, I would rather walk away from all the tech aspects and understand that the meaning is something I'm looking for.
I want to show the meaning behind each moment and allow the viewer a subjective interpretation. I believe that even the most ordinary scene can sometimes contain a more profound sense, and my goal is to see, understand, and save this moment so the image has not only the layer of visual excellence but, more importantly - the layer of meaning. That's also why I turned to black-and-white photography, appreciating its mood.
So, if you have found meaning of any kind in any of my images, I'm happy!
