The uniqueness of her imagery is enhanced by using photopolymer etching, an old printing technique. In this process, the motif is brought forth through a printing plate sensitized with photopolymer film by means of contact exposure. This process gives her the opportunity to act like a painter when doing the final prints leaving room for accidental elements where they are.
In 2020 she starts a collaboration with Kahmann Gallery in Amsterdam and becomes nominated as one of the five emerging photographers of the Netherlands by Gup Magazine.
In 2020 her work was published in Art Magazine Pan&The Dream Issue #4 Pan's Ghost Stories.
In 2021 a body of work was exhibited for the first time at Photo Basel and Paris Photo were her work got a lot of attention.
Next to her personal work, in 2021 Chantal Elisabeth was asked to create images in her own personal style with Haute Couture in Paris.
Together with creative director Kaduri Elyashar she created a 24 pages cover story with the Haute Couture collection of Chanel for Crash Magazine. More stories followed for Crash Magazine and a new story has been published in the latest issue of Carcy Magazine.
