Daisy Noyes uses both digital and large format film cameras to make works that bridge the space between performance art and photography. She studied photography with Joel Sternfeld at Sarah Lawrence College in New York and at The Aegean Centre for Fine Arts in Greece. She also has a BA (Honours) in Performance from The University of New South Wales in Sydney.
She has published the photobook "Detour", and exhibited in the UK at Format Festival/QUAD Gallery, in China at the Lishui Photography Festival, in Melbourne at NOIR Gallery and WIP Gallery, in the Ballarat International Foto Biennale, and in New York at ICP as part of the exhibition “ICP Concerned: Global Images for a Global Crisis.”
Her work has been published in Photo Collective Magazine, GALAH Press, JANE by The Grey Attic, The Age/Sydney Morning Herald, the Guardian (US and Australia editions) and online at View Camera Australia.
