Debe Arlook is a photographic artist working in Santa Monica, California. She completed her BA in Film and Media Arts with a minor in Psychology from the American University, Washington D.C. in 1984. Her conceptual and documentary works reflect the energetic interconnections between physical and spiritual dimensions through traditional photography and photo-based projects. Arlook awards include FOCUS Photo L.A., 2023; Critical Mass Top 50, 2022; CENTER Social Award Honorable Mention, 2022; LensCulture Summer Open Award, 2022; Critical Mass Finalist, 2021 and 2020. Her work is widely collected, published, and exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide. She is a consultant, mentor, educator, printer and writer.
