About Ellie Davies

Ellie Davies (Born 1976) lives in Dorset and works in the woods and forests of Southern England. She gained her MA in Photography from London College of Communication.

Davies is represented by Crane Kalman Brighton Gallery in the UK, A.Galerie in Paris, Dimmitt Contemporary Art in Houston and Austin, Texas, Susan Spiritus Gallery in California, Gilman Contemporary in Sun Valley, Idaho and Brucie Collections in Kyiv.

In the past year Davies’ work has been exhibited in London, Istanbul, Shanghai, Germany, Paris and in the US.

Davies released two new bodies of work in 2023, Chalk Streams and Seascapes Triptych. Both were recently exhibited in a solo exhibition at Crane Kalman Gallery in London.

A second solo show at Zingst Horizonte Environmental Photo Festival in Germany continues until June 2024. Thirty billboard-sized prints ranging from 2012 onwards are currently exhibited there in a seaside meadow setting.

In 2023 Davies participated in group exhibitions including Return to Nature at Pearl Museum in Shanghai and Where the Wild Roses Grow at Museum Gazhane in Istanbul as part of the 212 Festival.
