Francisca Núñez is a Chilean photographer based in Toronto, known for her poetic and introspective approach to visual storytelling. With a background in Photojournalism from ALPES Escuela de Imagen y Comunicación in Santiago, she specializes in "Imaginary Portraits" that blend painterly aesthetics with deep emotional resonance. Her work captures the essence of her subjects through simple yet elegant compositions, reflecting a nostalgic and experimental style. Fran’s photography has been featured in LensCulture, Photovogue, FishEye Magazine and exhibited in Chile, Germany, and Italy. Her video poetry has been showcased at international festivals, including Helios Sunpoetry and Cadence Video Poetry. As a finalist in LensCulture Black and White 2018 and a participant in the Associazione Ottovolante Residency, she continues to explore new creative horizons.
