A freelance photographer and cinematographer based in Berlin and born in Northern Germany in 1981. After completing his studies in 2002, he started to work in the television industry as a camera–assistant. In 2007 he quit his job to become a cinematographer.
He studied Cinematography at the University for Film and Televison “Konrad Wolf“ in Potsdam – Babelsberg. He graduated in 2012. For the next two years he has travelled through the Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Russia working on personal photo-projects. Since 2015 he is working as a freelance photographer. Currently he is working on a long- term project about the climate change.
