Gilleam Trapenberg was born in Curacao in 1991 and graduated from the Royal Academy of Art inThe Hague in 2017. Born and raised in Curacao his fascinations with themes such as status, representation and image culture have long played an integral part in his work. He currently lives and works in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
