Ivan Tomasevic (b. 1989) is a Croatian photographer based in Berlin, currently involved as an artistic researcher at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. In his projects, he experiments with storytelling and design and converts these into hand-crafted artist books. Ivan's work interweaves documentary and narrative elements, exploring the topics of community, memory, and place. His use of poetic and metaphorical language creates scenes that blur the lines between fact and fiction, provoking reflection and challenging the conventional interpretation of the presented narratives. Ivan studied Photography at Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie Berlin and earned a Master degree in Visual Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. His work has been exhibited internationally and featured in various publications.
