Born and raised in Mexico City, I believe that the origin of my photographic artwork lies in the love-hate relationship with this very city and was somehow initiated by my work as an actor and scene director on stage in theater. I encounter with photography by chance in 2010 and, since then, I register the way I see and feel my country. The images range from the violence unleashed by the war against narco to the love for Mexican customs, the lights, the chiaroscuros that define the Mexico that inhabits me.
