Katerina Vo is a U.S. photographer, educator, and visual storyteller working in New York and internationally. Her work deals with themes of militarism, nationalism and the construction of national myths. Drawing on her own military family, she is interested in the violent melding of fact and fiction in the creation of the nation, and how this interplays with gender and the family structure. Katerina is a graduate of NYU, holding a dual degree in photography and social and cultural analysis.
