About Louis Lee

I have always been fascinated by people. Whether it’s in my professional life as a psychiatrist, or as an observer on the streets, I always wonder, “what is the narrative here?” I look for patterns of behaviour, nuance and telling moments when the mask slips. My photography is a new way for me to ask the same question I ask myself in the consulting room: what makes people tick? I guess this form of observation is also a form of reflection, which is shared by most of us who are intrigued by the human condition.
