Born in Cervia in 1980, Marco Trinchillo.
Fascinated by analogue photography, he enjoys using different processes and photographic media such as reflex, compact and medium format. His photographic journey has brought him to examine the relationship between the objectivity of the camera and his personal vision of reality.
In 2011, he started 'BEYOND' a new project that is still ongoing, focused on women and their relationship with a very intimate space: their home. He first began photographing acquaintances, girls met in bars or the street, turning these photographic encounters into an opportunity to go beyond aesthetic barriers and personal stereotypes, collaborating with his subjects to celebrate their intimate world.
In 2019 he completed "MAREMARE" .
Wandering the beaches on the Adriatic coast between Cervia and Rimini, sensations like the anticipation before heading to the beach, the smell of plastic toys and sun loungers, the sight of teenagers trying not to be noticed, the feeling of melted ice cream on sticky fingers, friends, passions and discoveries, has been published in D REPUBBLICA magazine and exposed to RIAPERTURE FESTIVAL.
During the lockdown, he started working on ‘INTIMACY' aiming to explore how these unprecedented times have changed couples' relationship. 'INTIMACY' has been published in JESUS magazine.
Has just finished 'THE KIDS AIN’T ALRIGHT' .
Twelve young people, aged from 14 to 19, agreed to be photographed in the places that are special to them and they told us how they are experiencing these times. “This situation should have taught people to be more human, but it seems that isn’t the case: they have become even more selfish, excessively bitchy, toxic and apathetic due to the lack of human contact.”
