Michelle Arcila is a Costa Rican/Colombian photographer living and working in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2002 with a BFA in photography. Her work primarily focuses on family, motherhood, and the affects of cultural assimilation on mental health. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
