About Norberto Pezzotta

Born in Bergamo in November 1970.

He falls in love with photography as a twelve-year-old boy when he receives a reflex camera as a gift during a motorcycle trip with his father: That’s when he begins experimenting with photography.

Consumed by the desire to improve, he dedicates himself to photography during his time in New York. Working as a marketing man for an Italian company he had the privilege of frequenting galleries and immersing himself in the world of photography professionals. This gives him the opportunity of refining his personal taste on photography and learning the basics of camera work.

Upon returning to Italy, photography becomes his job. Commissioned work does not deter him from artistic production, as he keeps viewing images as a mean of personal and intimate exploration.
