About Olivia Beasley

Olivia trained and worked as an illustrator, but now concentrates on photography projects and commissions.

She takes inspiration from her physical surroundings in London. “Nothing is more satisfying than an idea sparked by real visual experience”.

Memory and storytelling are important triggers for projects, and she likes to create a narrative in her photographs showing people in real places or constructed environments to give a sense of time and place.

She uses large format analogue cameras and digital media, whatever suits the project in hand.

Olivia has won many awards for illustration and photography including DandAD, PDN, Creative Review, Royal Photographic Society, Association of Photographers and American Photography.
