About Persia Campbell

Her photographic work focuses on the exploration of female self-representation through the use of color and production design. Her work has been exhibited internationally, being presented in cities such as Paris, London, New York, Milan, Barcelona and Mexico City. The first series, "Itinerario de una mujer en la frontera" (Itinerary of a woman on the border), was highlighted at the Biennial of Photography in Barcelona, winning first place in the self-portrait category and in the International Photography Awards (IPA), where it obtained first place in the same category, and as a finalist in the Lens Culture Awards Art Photography Awards 2021.

The second series, "Reminiscences of the Border", won recognition by winning the "Female in Focus" photographic contest of the British Journal of Photography 1854, an institution with a long trajectory worldwide. It was exhibited in London, at the PhotoFusion gallery, and published in The Guardian.
