Philip Parmet

I've been mostly an amateur photographer and a professional cinematographer since 1965 and live in Los Angeles with my wife Lisa who does costumes for movies and an old cat. We have an adult daughter who is a writer and director of movies. I've shot more than 50 theatrical features, TV series, and documentary films including the highest grossing theatrical films as well as Academy Award winning docs. I've have had gallery shows in NY, LA, Paris, and Berlin and a one man show at the photo league of NY. I also have work in the permanent collection of the Getty Museum in LA. I am 79 years old and I try to do something photographic every day.
