René habermacher is Swiss-born, Paris-based and Greek at heart.
as illustrator turned photographer and filmmaker, he works as a multidisciplinary artist and for various international publications.
He is equally at ease in the realm of fashion as collaborating with other artists and has lived and worked between Hamburg Germany, Athens Greece and most recently Paris France.
His work was included in “Coming Into Fashion, a Century of Photography at Conde Nast" which was published by curator Nathalie Herschdorfer in collaboration with Condé Nast.
René Habermachers work has further been exhibited at PARCO museum Tokyo and Nagoya, MOCA Los Angeles and the Fashion Institute of Technology NYC, amongst others.
With "The Stimuleye" and "Paris Is Dead" projects, he started experimenting with new directions for his work, which has led to follow his nomadic roots with shoots in Greece, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
