Sutanta Aditya is an editorial and documentary photographer who has dedicated his career to long-term coverage of unexpected disasters, social tragedies, and environmental issues.
EDUCATION:
– Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (B.Sc.IT) from 2008-2012.
– Communication Science at the Journalism College of Medan from 2007.

Sutanta Aditya’s Work Experience:
– Independent photojournalist since now.
– Worked as a stringer photographer for Agence France-Presse (AFP) in Sumatra islands from August 2013 to August 2015 and from June 2010 to July 2012.
– Worked as a permanent photographer for Analisa Daily from July 2012 to 2013, Global Daily from July 2009 to June 2010, Wartakita Daily from February 2008 to June 2009, and Bersama Daily from January 2006 to January 2008.
– Worked as a freelance writer and cartoonist from July 2004 to December 2004.
PORTFOLIO REVIEW:
– Selected in the 9th annual New York Portfolio Review in 2022, presented by the New York Times Photo Department, Photoville, and Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
– Selected as one of the 100 photographers for the Hamburg Portfolio Review in 2021.
