Born in Yamaguchi Japan, 1962. Based in Kanagawa, Japan.
In March 2011, Ishii started a photography project of wild deer living in the midtown in Nara and Miyajima. Currently, Ishii expands the shooting area all over Japan. Published the first photo book “Dear Deer” by Little More in December 2015. First solo exhibition in the Nikon Salon Ginza in January 2016. Participated in the Review Santa Fe in November 2016.
Her work was introduced on several international magazines and websites such as lensculture, European Photography Magazine, Le Monde, The Independent and Wired.com.
